ProjectB is pleased to present the first exhibition in Italy by the
artist Martin Eder. The show features eight, disparately sized paintings that
reveal the distinctive and virtuoso touch of the great German painter. Eder
habitually chooses to express himself in a versatile, eclectic way, moving
between oils, watercolours and musical performance.
ProjectB is pleased to present the first
exhibition at the gallery of the Danish photographer Jacob Gils. The show
includes seven works of impeccable technical and compositional expertise. The
two different series – Movements and Limit to Your Love – are both marked by
a strong desire to break away from the dictates that imprison photography,
making it overly controlled and predictable. Gils explores the potential of the medium,
going beyond its theoretical and stylistic boundaries to approach new creative
and technical challenges, expanding the visual vocabulary of photographic genres.

ProjectB
is pleased to present the double solo show by Davide Monaldi and Tindar, two
young Italian artists, both finalists in the 17th edition of Premio Cairo. Drawing
is the shared feature of the work of these two artists: drawing as a starting
point from which both take their cue to then transform it, by subtraction or
addition, into works evolving towards completely new and unexpected forms.
Monaldi
begins his career by drawing complex images that require the use of color for
their construction. He then begins to shape the first works in clay, and to
gradually impleme...
For the 10th anniversary of the opening of the gallery in 2006, ProjectB is pleased to present a group show with current works by 12 representative artists in the gallery’s history. Works - including paintings, sculptures and photographs – narrate the path of the gallery in it’s ten years of activity. Research, technique and interaction with the exhibition space are the themes that have guided the choices, developed through the alternation of highly acclaimed and emerging Italian and foreign artists.
ProjectB is pleased to present the first
solo show by the young Italian artist Tindar. Eighteen works that reveal true
research on the discovery of the being and origin of civilization; hence the
title of the exhibition, Aletheia, from the Greek truth, unveiling but also and
above all revelation of the state of not being hidden. The non-ordinary vantage
point from which to observe things, and the resulting intuition, at the origin
of all the works in the show.
ProjectB is pleased to announce Ancient Games, Tom
Anholt’s first solo exhibition in Italy.
Curated by Jane Neal, the exhibition explores the sophisticated language of the artist through twelve works of different dimensions: from small oil on board to larger scale oil on linen. Anholt has a very particular way of painting that involves creating physical layers, each of which is threaded with meaning. The resulting archaeology weaves together history, art history and Anholt's personal family narrative, to create rich, colourful and often poetic paintings. Anholt deliberately situates himself in the inb...
ProjectB presents the first solo show in Milan by the Italian artist Ivan de Menis. His sixteen artworks on display, all different in size, open a window on
a world made of colours and resin; they are a reference to time, which
makes the research for a specific pictorial sensibility become the
foundation of the artwork itself.
ProjectB is pleased to present Chemigrams, Margherita Chiarva’s first
solo show. On exhibit are fifteen photographic works that transport the

connection to depictions of public and private environments often
peopled by women.

Giada Ripa’s latest work has focused on
the analysis of space as a means for exploring personal identity. In
addition to her documentary approach to photography, Ripa has developed,
as an artist, a body of work characterized by introspection and
experimentation, often using landscapes and energy production sites as
inspiration and as a backdrop for her performances.

“… if suddenly (and
mysteriously) all the art works of the twentieth Century were to disappear and
only a collection of chess pieces survived… art historians would be able to
reconstruct all the various trends, styles and movements of the past century
quite simply from a study of this collection…” Ernst Strouhal

“My photos can
help to feel like a texture, a poetic gesture; something like happiness or
sadness. Photos can help like a caress of heart. I try to answer to my heart’s
voice when I do my work.”
dell’immagine.
